Aon: Growing a prospect list from larger pension schemes.


The Brief

The Fiduciary Management industry is fiercely competitive. With at least 20 providers and less than 500 pension schemes able to take up the service, the fight for new business is at the fore front. Aon have had a few very successful years with their delegated consulting team.

The main focus has been to target larger schemes with at least £500m pension pots. Despite having an extensive database of pension schemes, they still wanted to increase the size of their prospect list.

The Solution

Along with a print, digital and Financial Library advertising campaign over a three month period, Aon agreed to their first bespoke event with Professional Pensions.

The Result

A combined roundtable and dinner at Claridges offered Aon the opportunity to cherry pick the delegates that they wanted most. An extensive marketing campaign managed to deliver the right results which offered Aon the opportunity to market themselves as a real thought leader as well as networking with new prospects.

Not only did the campaign generate new leads, it also helped to reinforce the Aon brand awareness.
